We stopped in Ferrara nearly 7 weeks ago, so\nknew that the campsite was good (and cheap) and also that the town was lovely.\nAnd the route would be flat and easy to follow.
\n
We were up at the actual crack of dawn to stay stealthy and get packed up. Not\nsure anyone was awake to see us....! We then rode a short way to the amusingly\nnamed Carbonara di Po where we found a nice bar serving excellent coffee and\nbrioches (croissants) for our breakfast. The ride to Ferrara was then super\neasy - along the Po and then along a traffic free cycleway all the way to the\ncity turning. We were so invigorated after our wild camp, we weren't even too\nbored!
\n
https://www.strava.com/activities/1805051081
\n
Ferrara is as lovely as we'd remembered. We found cheap slices of pizza and\nexcellent gelato for lunch, then headed over to the campsite. I don't think I\nactually appreciated how great it was when we were here before. It's SO\nQUIET!!!! Ferrara is a bit off the radar which is good for us, but a shame\nreally because it is fab. Definitely come here if you're in the area!
","frontmatter":{"date":null,"path":"/journal/208","title":""}}},"pageContext":{}}}
