Today was all about wine :)

We set off early enough to give us plenty of time to get to our tasting at Gustav Lorentz in Bergheim. So we also had plenty of time to wander around yet another gorgeous medieval town beforehand ;)

The tasting was brilliant; highly recommended. Very low key, not sure if we got to taste more wines because we were so interested but we ended up trying 12!! Including a Cremant d'Alsace, 4 Grand Crus and a very special Pinot Noir. We bought a bottle of the cheaper Pinot Noir for later too...

I can't actually remember much about the cycling, no idea why, ha ha. We stayed at the municipal campsite in Selestat which was pretty good...much like the others - cheap and cheerful!!
